Public Education Overview

Public Education Overview

Since its inception in 1970, the Child Care Council has advocated for the well-being of children and families by communicating with policy makers, businesses, community agencies, and other groups and individuals.

The Council has also worked with parents and child care providers to help them advocate and bring about change on key issues.

The Child Care Council of Dutchess and Putnam, Inc. (CCCDP) urges parents and people in the early care and education field to keep abreast of emerging needs/issues on local, state, and national levels. CCCDP will post "alerts" or "take action" here on the website. For more information, please contact Jeanne Wagner at 845-473-4141 ext. 213 or info@childcaredutchess.org
