Health and Safety Training:
Competencies in Child Care for Day Care Center, School-Age Child Care, and Enrolled Legally Exempt Group Directors
This classroom training is mandatory for all new Day Care Center and School-age Program Directors hired on or after October 1, 2017.
It is also mandatory for any director that did not take the 5 hour e-learning training prior to October 1, 2017.
Directors are responsible for hiring, training and maintaining staff who provide a healthy and safe environment for children. This course will help directors look at policies and procedures that reinforce high-quality health and safety practices.
After you have completed this, you must call Darla Fulmer at Child Care Council of Dutchess & Putnam, Inc. at (845) 473-4141 ext. 216 to make the payment for the course. You are not fully enrolled until you have made payment.
