The Caring Spaces Endorsement began in 2018 with three tiers of measuring quality in Infant and Toddler classrooms including freedom of movement, responsive caregiving and quality materials and experiences. With this latest update, Caring Spaces has now expanded to cover Preschool Environments and has added a 4th tier on Engaging in Brave Conversations with Parents about Child Development and Challenging Behaviors. The goal of Caring Spaces remains the same: to increase quality, to decrease challenging behaviors, and to prevent expulsion in early childhood programs.
