Lead Poisoning and Tick-Borne Disease Prevention
The first part of this workshop will discuss the toxic effects of lead and how to prevent exposure, as well as the importance of the NYS testing requirements for young children. The second part of the workshop will give an overview of tick-borne disease in Dutchess County, prevention strategies to reduce exposure to ticks, and minimize the risk of disease if tick bites do occur.
