Movement & Mindfulness for Infant through School-Age
Mindfulness offers numerous benefits for children, contributing to their overall development and well-being. From enhancing bonding, supporting emotional regulation, improving sleep, and fostering sensory development, children of all ages benefit. Overall, mindfulness supports a healthy balance between emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in children.
The objective of this training is to equip daycare professionals with practical tools and techniques to incorporate movement and mindfulness into daily routines, promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive development in children. Participants will learn the importance of integrating mindfulness practices and physical activities for children’s overall well-being, age appropriate activities, simple mindfulness exercises and movement games and relaxation strategies to benefit not only children, but staff as well.
This training is appropriate for all modalities.
